QALIA supports luxury rental brands in their sustainability practices
Marc Ribail founded QALIA as a unique responsible tourism standard specifically for stand-alone rental brands who want to showcase conscious luxury.
QALIA Members will work through the three levels of the framework to suit their property and their timescales. The three levels are Essentials, Advanced and Excellence.
These levels are closely linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and set a standard for excellence in the luxury vacation rental market.
As a Member, you will be able to differentiate your property as a trailblazing conscious luxury brand. QALIA will connect Members with conscious travellers through a network of specialist agencies, PR exposure and direct booking strategies.
The challenge
The team at QALIA were on the look-out for a replacement to their existing email provider; Campaign Monitor.
QALIA needed a platform which could provide the following features:
Website Forms to capture email addresses for upcoming Conferences and Events, as well as general enquiries
A no-code builder for creating Newsletter Campaigns
A 'Simple Font' email version for sending personalised outreach, at scale
As a thought-leader in integrating Sustainability into the Luxury Travel Industry, the team at QALIA were additionally interested by EcoSend's usage of renewable cloud providers, 'serverless' technologies, and tree-planting partnership with Treeapp, prompting them to book an introductory demo.
Results
The QALIA team first uploaded their data via CSV from their existing database, including key custom properties such as Country Location.
Once uploaded, the QALIA Marketing team now easily segment their users in EcoSend Contacts, using the uploaded custom properties as filters.
Qalia started by adding two EcoSend Forms to their site, one for general enquiries, and another to capture email addresses of users interested in attending an upcoming event.
Since getting set-up with EcoSend, QALIA have already sent out a number of campaigns, including a Newsletter Broadcast and blog-post, as well as targeted 'Simple Email' campaigns to follow-up with attendees of their recent event.
