Who we work with.
We apply strict principles on who we accept as users and customers of EcoSend. The decision is not always easy, but our goal is to always be clear, fair, and impactful.
Make the switch to EcoSendOur aim is to have a positive impact on society and the environment, and to reduce any unintended negative impact we have.
A significant part of the impact we have is in who we work with and provide our products and services to.
We provide our email marketing software to organisations in many different industries. We try to support positive people on positive projects.
We screen new customers and projects to ensure they align with our values and turn down those that don’t sufficiently align with our values and mission as a company.
All new users are screened according to the process outlined here.
Industries we will not work with
If the project or customer is primarily focused on any of the following, then it will be declined.
We do not provide service to customers in the following industries.
- Arms, ammunition and conflict
- Cryptocurrency
- Discrimination or extremism
- Fossil fuels
- Gambling
- Predatory financial services (e.g. loan sharks)
- Pornography and adult entertainment
- Tobacco
- Unhealthy products aimed at children
Industries that are subject to further review
We review customers in the following industries on a case-by-case basis.
- Charity lotteries
- Debt collection agencies in emerging markets
- Nuclear power or radioactive materials
- Mining
- Pharmaceuticals
- Recreational marijuana
- Any further industries on the B Lab list of controversial industries.
