That's why we're incredibly proud to share that EcoSend has been awarded the Platinum Payroll Giving Quality Mark by Charities Trust.

The award recognises organisations that go above and beyond in encouraging workplace giving, and reflects our commitment to making charitable giving an accessible and meaningful part of working at EcoSend.

We're honoured to receive this recognition from the Charities Trust, but what matters most to us is what it represents: creating a culture where giving back is embedded into the way every company does business.

What is the Payroll Giving Quality Mark?

The Payroll Giving Quality Mark is a government-backed accreditation, administered by Charities Trust, that recognises employers committed to supporting Payroll Giving in the workplace.

Organisations can achieve Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond status, with each level reflecting the strength of employee participation and the organisation's commitment to promoting charitable giving.

Receiving the Platinum award places EcoSend amongst a growing community of employers helping to make charitable giving a natural part of working life.

Why Payroll Giving matters

Payroll Giving is one of the simplest and most effective ways employees can support the causes they care about.

Donations are taken directly from an employee's salary before income tax is deducted, making it a tax-efficient way to give while providing charities with reliable, predictable income they can depend upon throughout the year.

This regular support enables charities to plan ahead, invest in long-term projects, and focus more of their time and resources on delivering meaningful impact.

For us, Payroll Giving is a simple but powerful way to ensure that our success also helps support organisations creating positive change across society.

One of the top organisations EcoSend employees have chosen to donate to is the Against Malaria Foundation. The AMF is frequently cited as one of the most effective charities in the world, ranking highly in cost-effectiveness, transparency, and established track record.

Part of a bigger commitment

Receiving the Platinum Payroll Giving Quality Mark isn't something we've pursued as a standalone initiative.

It's one part of our wider commitment to building a business that creates positive environmental and social impact.

As a certified B Corp, we're continually looking for ways to ensure that our business benefits not only our customers, but also our team, our communities and the planet.

Alongside our Payroll Giving programme, we also do a whole lot more including:

• Offer discounted pricing for registered charities and community-benefit organisations.
• Care deeply about digital sustainability, with our focus on reducing the environmental impact of email marketing.
• Are committed members of the Good Business Charter, and a certified B Corp.
• We've signed up for Founder's Pledge, Business Declares, the Better Business Act, and more.
• Support global nature restoration through our tree planting and biodiversity partners.
• Share practical guidance to help organisations communicate more sustainably.
• Take part in regular volunteering days, spending time helping local community initiatives, such as conservation sites, river cleaning days, and food-bank shifts.
• Take every opportunity to bring nature into our work, like sharing beautiful illustrations from the Biodiversity Heritage Library.

We know these actions won't solve the world's challenges on their own, but we believe meaningful change comes from consistently making better choices.
