I was initially hesitant to change email provider, as I was quite happy with Beehiiv's functionality. However we were intrigued by EcoSend's sustainability credentials. On the demo, it became clear that EcoSend could confidently match Beehiiv's features, so that made it a no-brainer to make the switch.

The challenge
Russ at Avery & Brown was initially introduced to the EcoSend platform after joining as a guest on an episode of season three of The EcoSend Podcast.
Having learned more about the carbon-impact of email Marketing, Russ put his team in touch with EcoSend to arrange a demo and discuss migration of the Nineteen Eighty Four newsletter.
At the time, Avery & Brown were set-up with the email platform Beehiiv. Prior to that, the company had used Intuit mailchimp's platform.
Migrating software providers can sometimes be a hassle. But with EcoSend we found it an easy switchover. The platform and support team facilitated getting our contacts and email template migrated across. We also found it very easy to use their drag & drop Form builder to add a newsletter sign-up form to our website.

Results
Josh at Avery & Brown arranged a demo call with the EcoSend team, to explore the platform's functionality.
Although Josh agreed with the idea of using a climate-conscious email platform to send out a newsletter dedicated to Sustainability news, it was crucial to test whether EcoSend could match Beehiiv's functionality and design aesthetics.
During the demo, the EcoSend team showed a template mock-up of the nineteen eighty four newsletter, built from scratch using EcoSend's drag & drop email builder.
The EcoSend team also showed how to segment newsletter lists in EcoSend Contacts, and monitor the performance of email campaigns in Insights.
Confident that EcoSend was now the right choice, both from a Sustainability and campaign-performance perspective, Avery & Brown signed-up for an EcoSend account to complete the migration process.
In addition to migrating their contacts and sending out nineteen eighty four, Avery & Brown also deploy an EcoSend Form on their newsletter's landing page, in order to grow the subscription base over time.
