Mane Impact started as a one-woman web design studio in 2018 to help brands show up with clarity and confidence online. But as the work grew, so did the vision.
After years of working with small businesses, non-profits, and multi-million dollar firms, Hannah Vaughn Nichol identified a common challenge: purpose-driven organizations had something powerful to say but needed more than just a great website. They needed a partner who understood their mission and could provide the strategy, tools, or support to get it in front of the right people.

I appreciate the regular updates to the EcoSend platform. A few weeks after signing up to EcoSend, their Product team released the new ‘Per Link Click Tracking’ feature, which I’ve found helpful to review which links within my Newsletters are driving the most interest. This helps inform my content strategy for future Newsletter editions.

The challenge
As a purpose-driven agency, the team at Mane Impact were interested to make the switch to a climate-conscious email provider.
In order to migrate however, Mane Impact needed a platform which could deliver on the following key features:
- Multiple website sign-up Forms to capture new leads
- Automated email Sequences to deliver lead magnets and nurture sign-ups through lead funnels
- A no-code drag & drop email builder to send monthly Newsletters
- A contacts database to store their audience, and the ability to segment users according to custom properties
I found the switchover from HubSpot to be a simple process. The EcoSend platform is intuitive and their Support team are always responsive. I’m pleased to be working with a company which shares our mission and values!

Results
Mane Impact began the migration by exporting their audience list from HubSpot, and importing into EcoSend Contacts via CSV file.
The team were able to include custom properties in this upload, ensuring their data and segmentation was preserved between the two platforms.
Next, Mane Impact implemented EcoSend Forms across their website, to send new sign-ups directly into their EcoSend Contacts database and Smart Groups.
Using entry to these Smart Groups as a trigger-action, the Mane Impact team created EcoSend Automated Nurture Messaging to deliver their Lead Magnet, and nurture prospects through their Marketing funnel.
Using the EcoSend no code email builder, Mane Impact sends out their monthly Newsletter, ‘Mane’s Monthly Marketing Map’.
Mane Impact were able to complete their switchover from HubSpot all within the 7 day EcoSend trial period, then went live with their monthly subscription to start sending out their first climate-conscious campaigns.
