Connect EcoSend with Gravity Forms
Building your email list is essential to making the most of EcoSend.
While EcoSend Forms offer the most digitally sustainable and accessible way to collect emails, we know that some users need more advanced features and customisation — especially on WordPress.
That’s where Gravity Forms comes in.
💡 The best way to get form submissions from Wordpress to EcoSend
Gravity Forms is the most popular form builder for Wordpress. With powerful features, flexibility, and deep WordPress compatibility, it’s ideal for teams looking to build smarter forms without compromising on functionality.
With the EcoSend Gravity Forms Add-On, every form submission from your Wordpress site can be automatically “fed” into EcoSend.
You can choose which forms you want to sync and you have full control over field mapping — deciding exactly how your form fields match up with your EcoSend audience data.

Click the link "Gravity Forms Wordpress Plugin" to download the plugin as a Zip file.
4. Upload and activate the plugin to Wordpress
Log in to your site's Wordpress Admin, and head to Plugins > Add Plugin.
Under "If you have a plugin in a .zip format..." click on "Choose file" to locate the plugin Zip file you just downloaded.
One the plugin is uploaded, click "Activate Plugin".
5. Add your EcoSend API Key to Gravity Forms
Next, in Wordpress, head to Gravity Forms > Settings > EcoSend, and paste the API Key from the Gravity Forms integration screen in EcoSend into the API Key field in Gravity Forms.
🔌 Step-by-step: Connect your forms with your EcoSend data
Once you've installed and activated the Gravity Forms plugin, you're ready to get your form submissions flowing into EcoSend.
1. Create a feed in Gravity Forms
Create your EcoSend Feed, in order to map the properties of your Gravity Forms onto properties in EcoSend Contacts. Click "Add New" to get started.
2. Map your fields between Gravity Forms and EcoSend
From the settings screen, you can now map the Gravity Forms fields onto EcoSend fields.
3. Differentiate between multiple forms (recommended)
We also recommend adding a Custom Field under the Key property in Gravity Forms, in order to differentiate between submissions from multiple Gravity Forms.
Enter a name for the property, such as ‘Gravity Form’, then select the Value as Form Title from the dropdown.
The data will be searchable in EcoSend Contacts when you filter for "Gravity Form is exactly [Form name]"
4. Connect forms to EcoSend Lists
You can also choose to automatically add contacts to a chosen List. This makes it easy to, for example, add contacts to your newsletter and other mailing lists in a clear and controlled way.
