Zapier and webhooks for email opens, clicks, bounces and more
You can now trigger a Zap and send a webhook to any tool you like whenever a contact does something with your emails.
Until now, Notifications could fire when a contact entered or exited a Smart Group. Now you can trigger a webhook or Zap the moment a contact:
- Opens an email
- Clicks a link
- Marks an email as spam
- Has an email bounce
You can also trigger webhooks when an email is sent or delivered.
Point the webhook at your CRM or an internal system, and your contacts' engagement reaches the rest of your stack in real-time.
If you prefer to avoid touching code, every one of these events is also available as a trigger in our Zapier integration, so you can connect to thousands of apps without touching a webhook.
A few ideas to get you started
- Spot your hottest leads. When someone clicks the pricing or booking link in your newsletter, alert your sales team in Slack or bump their lead score in your CRM, so you can follow up while they're still interested.
- Keep your CRM clean. When an email bounces, flag the contact in your CRM so the bad address gets fixed or removed everywhere, not just in EcoSend.
- Build your own reports. Log every click in a Google Sheet or your data warehouse and see which content brings in the most engagement over time.
- Join up your events. When someone clicks your event registration link, add them to a follow-up list in your ticketing or webinar tool.
