And all-too-often the one remaining mistake is noticed by a recipient after you’ve sent the campaign out.

With Review Mode, our aim is to change that.

Automatic and effortless

We’re on a mission to make it hard, if not downright impossible, to send a bad email.

What makes a bad email? One where it’s strewn with typos, filled with grammatical errors, has broken variables, fails accessibility checks, has images without alt tags, broken links, left-over templated social links, and has no unsubscribe link.

Review Mode in EcoSend automatically checks for all of these and more, notifying you about them and proactively suggesting one-click fixes for each of them.

Accessibility issues: caught

We care deeply about accessibility, but we know it can often slip down the priority list when a deadline is looming. Review Mode makes it easy to spot common accessibility issues that often get missed, and provides quick fixes to put them right.

• Spot readability issues caused by low colour contrast on text, titles, buttons, and links.
• Images without alt tags? Review Mode flags them so you can set each one before sending.

Spelling and grammar issues: caught

“There” or “their”? “It’s” or “Its”?

You may use a browser extension or perhaps even some form of AI tooling to help you check grammar. Or you may just know your grammar rules and your ABCs and feel super confident. But even for the best of us, it’s so easy to make a simple mistake in the heat of the moment.

Review Mode automatically checks the contents of your whole email, highlighting anything that may require a second look, and it gives you suggestions in milliseconds.

Even better, like all of the checks in Review Mode, EcoSend won’t send your email contents to a third party or process anything with AI. It’s all done privately, with spelling and grammar checks happening entirely on your device.

For the time being, spelling and grammar checks are only available for English language users.

Compliance issues and email best practices: caught

Subject line length, a working unsubscribe link, call-to-action buttons with actual links on them, and variables with working data and fallbacks. These are all issues that have caught us out in the past, and we don’t want them to do any more harm.

Review Mode catches all of these, and proposes solutions to each, meaning you can confidently uphold a reputation of quality, reliability, and compliance.

No AI

We know the world has gone a little AI mad. But we’re keeping our calm.

The new Review Mode, is another game-changing update built on top of the new EcoSend email builder, following last week’s Image Optimisation release. All of these features, despite feeling magical and incredibly powerful, do not rely on AI in any way.
