The challenge
Andy & Jude at Business on Purpose were first introduced to EcoSend by Yuval Ackerman of Ethical Emails.
Curious to explore an alternative to their HubSpot platform for promoting their PurposeFest events, the team at BOP reached out to EcoSend to explore making the switch.
In order to migrate their email campaigns from HubSpot, Business on Purpose required uploading a large audience, as well as custom data in order to segment their audience according to industry and/or event attendance.
The Marketing team also required a no-code, drag & drop email builder, in order to create their Marketing and promotional campaigns.
Results
The team at Business on Purpose began their migration with an Onboarding call with the EcoSend Customer Success team.
During this call, EcoSend assisted with exporting the Business on Purpose audience data from HubSpot, and uploading the email addresses into EcoSend Contacts.
As part of this upload, custom properties were added onto the relevant email addresses, allowing BOP to categorise their audience base in EcoSend.
With custom properties based on industry, such as Fashion and Textiles, or previous attendance to PurposeFest events, Business on Purpose were able to segment their large audience into smaller categories.
Thanks to this, the Marketing team are able to send targeted, relevant EcoSend Broadcasts to their user base, using the no-code EcoSend email builder.
This includes promoting upcoming PurposeFest events to contacts who have not yet purchased tickets, as well as sending segmented campaigns based on contact industry.
