Landing Page
A landing page in email marketing is the destination users will be taken to when they click on links throughout your email campaign.
Having a compelling call-to-action (CTA) is only half the battle. That's because, if the landing page doesn't meet expectations it won't encourage conversions. Instead, marketers need to consider both the CTA and landing page in terms of quality and relevance.
Always ensure your landing page links are live and that the link also works.
From there, the landing page itself should offer plenty of functionality for users to keep them on the page for as long as possible.
Example
It's possible to create a custom landing page for a link, or to link to an existing page on your website.
For instance, if we created a link to the EcoSend homepage within an email campaign, we could simply use the anchor text EcoSend.
If you have an ecommerce website, then your landing page link could point to a certain product or even a sale.
Choose which landing pages you link to carefully so that your marketing objectives will be achieved.
