What is a Preview Text?

Email Preview Text is an often over-looked, yet vital part of your email campaigns.

Preview Texts appear just after Subject Lines in your recipients' email boxes, and give a glimpse as to the content of the email.

When busy recipients scan their email inboxes deciding what to open or ignore, your Subject Lines may first catch their attention. But it's often the Preview Text which will convince them to click 'open'.

You may have crafted the perfect Subject Line, but ignore your Preview Text and your emails could be dead in the water!

Think of Preview Texts as your secondary Subject Line. Both are the store-fronts to your email campaigns. So make sure to make them enticing!

How to add a Preview Text in EcoSend?

Open the EcoSend drag & drop message composer canvas, then click Body from the far left-hand side menu.

Scroll down to Email Settings and the Preheader Text box.

Then simply add in your content, make it nice and snappy, and you're good to go! 🎉
